The history of Stratford upon Avon and its most famous resident, William Shakespeare, make it a must-visit town for anyone this summer. However, the only way to soak up all the sights of this magnificent town and experience a unique sightseeing tour is to hop aboard one of Bancroft Cruisers passenger boats.

Offering an entertaining and informative sightseeing tour along the River Avon with a tour guide on board, the 45 minute cruises are a relaxing way to see Stratford’s famous landmarks, including the stunning architecture of 14th century Clopton Bridge, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Holy Trinity Church, as well as the water meadows and wildlife along the River Avon.

Bancroft Cruisers walk-on sightseeing tours run regularly at half past the hour, every hour, between 10.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.

A 45 minute cruise is £5 per adult and £3.50 for children. Under fives go FREE!

Princess Marina will hold up to 56 passengers and our new boat ‘The Rita Ellen’ will hold up to 45 passengers with refreshments available on board and is designed for functions as well as sightseeing – ideal for cream tea cruises! The Rita Ellen also has a wheelchair lift and facilities for the disabled.
